Senior Civil Engineer
As a senior expert civil engineering, you will be responsible for the design, planning, implementation and supervision of these activities
Our main office is located in Erbil, our projects are located in Sulaimaniyah, Duhok and Erbil; therefore you have to be able to stay there overnight
Your most important duties are as follows
Design and execute in coordination with the local and regional authorities as well as with international organisations
Supervise national staff and sub-contractors
Monitoring of construction activities and corresponding reporting activities
Your qualifications will include
a university or polytechnic degree (master) in the field of civil engineering, or comparable completed training
at least 10 years of professional experience in the field of civil engineering
good analytical skills for evaluating the humanitarian situation
sound knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant programs as well as tendering is obligatorily
employment experience within a humanitarian context is a plus
a high level of physical and mental resilience and readiness to travel
coordination and organizational skills
ability to communicate and work in a team
a very good command of English, Kurdish and Arabic
