Our company provides voice /
data , broadband services IP network to the
international humanitarian organisation oil and gas and
network-based services, as a Network Operations Technician, you will be a key
point of network surveillance by monitoring components, troubleshooting problems
and resolving impairments. Maintaining and configuration of new equipment
installs
Key Responsibilities
·
Monitors communications network system performance to assure the
dependable and uninterrupted operation of all communications services
·
Uses Network Management Systems software consoles and heads up
display screen of alarms to detect error messages that signal malfunction in
communications software or hardware
·
Correct use of Spectrum Analyzers,
VSAT equipment and the company’s Software packages
·
Provide Technical Support for other Departments

Degree in Computer or HNC in Electronics or equivalent
·
Knowledgeable in the operation, integration, and testing of
satellite, data, and voice and RF based systems
·
Technical support to end customers, and site surveys.
·
Working Knowledge about Dedicated SCPC
/SCPC Service and CIR, DVB-S2 Service, Shared services on iDirect & Comtech
systems as well as mobile satellite solutions, VPN tunnels and other Satellite
related products and services
·
Capability to use various computer operating systems, networking
configuration skills, dial up and LAN adapter settings as well as moderate
computer skills required
Requirements
· 3+
years of equivalent work experience
·
Diploma/Degree
· CISCO Certified
Skills
Strong
understanding of Satellite Operations, Telecommunications operations and
systems
Sound
knowledge of Networking concepts: Switching and Routing protocols, VoIP
protocols and implementation, Virtualization (Data Center), MPLS technics and
Communication concepts: Ethernet, Fiber, Microware Point to Point and VSAT.
Strong
understanding of System Engineering principles and techniques
Excellent
presentation/analytical skills
Experience
on projects delivery for Low Current Systems (SCS, CCTV, SMATV, ACS, Sound
P.A, Audio/Visual, Fire Alarm, Voice Evacuation, Emergency Lighting,
Central Battery, Central UPS, Data Centers, Telephony Systems, Networking
Systems, VPN solutions).
Languages
English proficient for working Environments)
Arabic proficient for working Environments)
Kurdish would be advantageous)
Salary & Benefits
Location - Erbil-Dubai
Sector - VSAT Sales Manager
Salary - £20,000 basic. £30,000 1st year OTE
